It is noted that at night in the north of Tulcea County, local authorities announced an alarm due to several drones approaching the border from Ukraine.

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations issued a warning notice for the northern part of Tulcea County, informing the population of the possibility of objects falling from the airspace in the area adjacent to the border with Ukraine.

The message was announced after Romanian border and surveillance structures noticed several objects (drones) approaching the northern part of Tulcea County at about 02:10,” the report said.

The source of the publication said that the purpose of the message is to inform and warn the population in the area where it is sent and should be treated as such.

“They should follow the instructions contained in the message and not panic. The country's territorial defense and public order structures are ready to provide all the necessary support to those who ask for it, and we once again make it clear that no part of our territory is under attack by the Russian Federation,” the source said.

The fire service reports that the single emergency number 112 received 10 calls about the sounds of explosions.

“Most of the calls were from the municipality of Tulch, and they signaled that they had heard explosions. However, there were also calls in which citizens asked for information, and operators of the control center of the Delta Emergency Situations Inspectorate in Tulchyn district provided them with all the information to understand that what they heard was happening on Ukrainian territory,” the Tulchyn State Border Guard Service added.
