Romania to continue searching for wreckage of Russian Shahed drones

The Romanian Ministry of Defense has announced that the search for the wreckage of Russian Shahed drones will continue on Thursday, July 25.

This is stated in a statement by the Romanian defense ministry.

The ministry confirmed that the wreckage, which was identified as part of a Geranium1/2 drone of Russian origin, was found in one of the three locations identified as possible crash sites.

“The search will continue today to cover the entire territory. We emphasize that all locations identified as possible incident areas are outside of populated areas and do not affect infrastructure elements,” the Defense Ministry said.

The ministry added that it has informed and continues to inform allied structures in real time about the situation as a result of the shelling.
