Russia has destroyed 184 medical institutions in Ukraine, damaged 1376

Since the first days of the full-scale war, Russia has damaged 1,376 medical facilities and destroyed another 184.

This was reported by the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports.

"From the first day of the full-scale war, the Russian army continues to target the medical infrastructure of Ukraine. The enemy is systematically destroying hospitals, outpatient clinics, maternity clinics, and polyclinics. Since the full-scale invasion, Russian missiles and shells have destroyed 184 medical facilities and damaged another 1,376," the statement said.

The medical infrastructure of Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions suffered the greatest losses.

The Ministry of Health emphasizes that despite the constant bombardment, Ukraine continues to restore medical facilities.

"As of the end of June 2023, 333 medical facilities have been fully restored and another 357 have been partially restored. Most of the restored medical facilities are located in the Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions," the Ministry said.
