Russia keeps missile carriers in the Black Sea

This morning, four Russian ships, including Kalibr cruise missile carriers, were spotted in the Black Sea.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Telegram of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military department clarified that these are two missile carriers in the Black Sea.

Thus, the Navy added, it is possible to fire up to 12 missiles through this ship grouping.

Meanwhile, 2 Russian ships have been spotted in the Sea of Azov, none of which carry Kalibr cruise missiles.

In addition, 1 enemy ship was spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, and there are no Kalibr carriers.

It is noted that during the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait was passed:

  • 2 vessels to the Black Sea, none of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus;
  • 6 vessels sailed to the Sea of Azov, 4 of which were heading from the Bosphorus.

According to the Ukrainian Navy, Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems (AIS).
