Russia wants to notify about mobilization via SMS

In Russia, they want to notify mobilized people of the delivery of a summons via SMS. It is assumed that this method will speed up the pace of mobilization.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a draft decree published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
The Russian Defense Ministry proposed to amend the regulation on calling citizens for mobilization, in particular, it is proposed to notify the mobilized through SMS-mailings.
The explanatory note to the document states that the changes will allegedly help reduce the timeframe for notifying citizens of mobilization and "improve the quality" of its implementation.
"Clause 8 shall be amended to read as follows: a notice of the military commissariat's sending a call-up shall be posted in the citizen's personal account in the federal state information system "Unified portal of state and municipal services (functions)", the taxpayer's personal account, and shall also be sent by SMS to the radiotelephone number specified on the portal of state and municipal services," the draft document reads.
