Russian strike on Kharkiv destroys office of Swiss organization

The Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD) reported that its office in Kharkiv was shelled during a Russian missile attack against the city on the morning of July 24.

This is stated in the organization's statement.

The Foundation said that the building where it was located, as well as some vehicles and equipment, were “significantly damaged” as a result of the attack.

“We are relieved to confirm that none of the Foundation's employees were killed or injured,” the FSD said, adding that it is taking immediate steps to ensure the safety of its staff and support all victims.

The Swiss Foundation for Mine Action emphasized that it will continue to provide humanitarian demining services and support to the people of Ukraine.

The Russian army has been shelling Kharkiv with rockets since Wednesday morning. City authorities reported at least five hits and six injuries.
