Russian troops fired at a Turkish ship in the port of Kherson

Feb 29, 2024

Russian troops launched missile strikes on the port of Kherson, during which the dry cargo ship KURUOGLU-3 was damaged on the starboard side.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a link to the Deniz İscileri Twitter platform.

"The ship, which was moored in the port to take out 2,800 tons of bulk cargo of nitrogen fertilizer - loose urea - and stood aground for two years due to the war, was hit by two rockets from the starboard side," the message reads.

It is noted that due to the threat of mines in the Black Sea, the Turkish ship has been aground in the port of Kherson since February 22, 2022.

The Turkish organization reports that there is no information on how many crew members were on board and in their condition.

Erdogan, will you continue to offer peace talks and express concern? Or maybe you will act?
