Russians have become more active on the border with the Kharkiv region

Russians have begun to use sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRGs) more actively near the border with the Kharkiv region.

At the same time, the number of enemy attacks in the region has increased. This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, during a telethon.

According to him, enemy activity has been recorded over the past few weeks.

"Previously, we recorded most of them in the Sumy direction. But over the past few weeks, we have seen a change in direction, namely in the Kharkiv region. Over the past few weeks, the enemy has been using subversive reconnaissance groups more actively in the Kharkiv region," Demchenko said.

The SBGS spokesperson suggested that the Russians changed the direction of the DRGs' use because they realized that "they are not succeeding in the Sumy direction."

Demchenko added that the number of hostile attacks on the border of Kharkiv region has significantly increased. At the same time, the shelling also continues in the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
