In addition, analysts observe that in recent days, Russian troops have slowed down their localized offensive operations on the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line.

Russian and Ukrainian officials have increasingly reported fewer Russian ground attacks on the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, indicating that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is drawing Russian forces away from the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line and significantly weakening Russian offensive efforts on this line.

According to ISW's preliminary assessment, Russian offensive operations on the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line were intended to push Ukrainian troops to this line and divert them from more important areas of the front.
