Sea passenger transport traffic stopped in Sevastopol

On the morning of August 1, maritime passenger transport was suspended in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

This is reported by Krym Realii with reference to the Russian Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of Sevastopol.

Details: According to the occupiers' department, at the final stops - Zakharova Square and Nakhimova Square - "rolling stock will be organized to perform work on the compensation route."

The Russian agency did not provide any reasons for the closure.

Earlier, the suspension of maritime passenger transport in Sevastopol was reported on July 27, when the city was hit by heavy rains with hail and strong winds. As of August 1, no storm warnings were announced in Sevastopol.

At the same time, on August 1, the Russian Defense Ministry said that on Tuesday night, Ukraine allegedly attacked Black Sea Fleet patrol ships with naval drones, which were 340 km southwest of Sevastopol.
