Head of the Government said this during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

This is 50 billion euros for four years. This is support for investment, support for our economy, and our movement towards EU membership. This year we expect to receive 16 billion euros of budgetary assistance from the EU," Shmygal said.

Shmygal also said that the government will today approve an agreement with the European Commission on the "Reform and Recovery Support Program". The agreement envisages an increase in the total budget of the program up to 374 million euros. The funds are meant to be used for the reconstruction of the destroyed infrastructure, support for small farms and other agricultural producers, as well as for the modernization of the crossing points bordering the EU border.

Prime Minister spoke about other joint projects with international partners.

"Today we will approve and submit for ratification to the Verkhovna Rada an agreement with Slovenia, on support for the program of humanitarian demining in Ukraine. Slovenia will provide a grant of more than 50 million hryvnia (1.5 million euros) to help us go through the process of such demining faster," he added.
