Shoigu personally led the operation to destroy the Wagner PMC
The owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu personally led the operation to destroy the Wagnerites. Prigozhin also noted that Shoigu "cowardly fled".
He said this in a statement.

"Shoigu has just cowardly fled Rostov. At 21:00, he ran like a coward, like a woman, in order not to explain why he was raising helicopters to destroy our guys," Prigozhin said.
Prigozhin also threatened the minister with his mercenaries. Later, he said that Shoigu had allegedly come to Rostov on purpose to allegedly conduct an operation to eliminate the Wagnerites.
As a reminder, the owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, ridiculed the Russian Defense Ministry, which recently boasted of a video showing the destruction of Ukrainian Leopard tanks. In fact, Prigozhin said, the Russians fought against agricultural machinery - combines.
