Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, said this in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.

"In the course of cooperation with the Slovak border guards, we received information about the beginning of blocking truck traffic at the Vysne Nemecke-Uzhhorod checkpoint. Slovak carriers are partially blocking the freight direction," the statement said.

According to available information, the blockade may be indefinite.

It is also currently known that trucks leaving Slovakia will be allowed to cross the border at a rate of 4 vehicles per hour, and that the movement of humanitarian goods, fuel and other important cargoes will not be blocked.

Traffic for trucks entering Slovakia will be provided in the normal mode.

"If we receive any other information from the Slovak side, we will inform you additionally. Currently, about 900 trucks are queued up in Slovakia to enter Ukraine," added Demchenko.
