Slovakia has completed the process of transferring MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. All the promised 13 aircraft are already in Ukraine.
This is reported with reference to the statement of the Slovak Ministry of Defense.
According to the head of the Slovak Ministry of Defense Jaroslav Nad’, Ukraine received nine more planes.
"This transfer was carried out by ground, given the greatest possible security; again, huge thanks to all the components involved, because in such cases it is really important and complex logistical operation," Nad’ stressed.
He added that MiG-29 aircraft are an essential support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
"Besides, unlike our neighbor, these planes were unsuitable for us. We are doing the right thing," the minister said.-
As a reminder, on March 23, Slovakia announced that it had handed over to Ukraine the first four MiG-29 fighters.
