Spain will help Ukraine on its way to the EU, - Prime Minister
The Spanish government will help Ukraine on its way to the European Union. In particular, during its presidency of the EU Council in the second half of this year.
This was stated by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the press service of the Spanish government.
He emphasized that all EU countries demonstrated a common determination to continue to provide Ukraine with all the necessary assistance, whether in the political, economic, humanitarian, or military spheres.
"As I had the opportunity to convey last Thursday to President Zelensky in Moldova, Spain will continue to work, as Sweden has done, to help Ukraine on its path to the European Union," Sanchez emphasized.
He also added that Russia's unjust and unjustified war against Ukraine has made the European Union realize the need to further advance reforms, which will be at the center of European debate during Spain's presidency of the Council.
