President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take part in the NATO summit in Vilnius as part of the launch of a new format of Ukraine's cooperation with the Alliance.
This was announced on Friday at a press conference on the eve of the NATO summit by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, a correspondent of Yevropeiska Pravda reports.
"President Zelenskyy will join us at the inaugural meeting of the new NATO-Ukraine Council. It will be a platform for crisis consultations and decision-making, where we all come together as equals to address security concerns," Stoltenberg said.
At the Vilnius summit, Ukraine seeks to obtain concrete decisions on its accession to NATO.
