Support for Ukraine has become an irritating factor for some politicians, but the Czech Republic will continue to help Kyiv.
This was stated by Czech President Petr Pavel, Novinky.cz reports.
"Supporting Ukraine has become an irritating factor for some politicians and citizens, but Russia and its power ambitions cannot be conceded," the president said.
According to Pavel, it is also about the security of the Czech Republic, as there are well-founded fears that Russia will not respect international law and will try to increasingly influence events outside its borders.
"If we don't want to obey, we have no choice but to support Ukraine," Pavel noted.-
He added that Russia should not have the feeling that it will achieve its goals through any aggression.
