"The Riksdag (Swedish parliament - ed.) has agreed to the free transfer of additional defense equipment to Ukraine," the statement said.

It is noted that this permission will give the government the right to make decisions on the free transfer of defense equipment.

This includes spare parts and essentials for several systems, such as Stridsfordon 90 and Archer, worth about SEK 1.1 billion ($101.2 million).

Ukraine will also receive ammunition, demining equipment and vehicles worth no more than SEK 2.15 billion ($197.8 million).

Yesterday, Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson said that Sweden should prepare for long-term support for Ukraine.
