The Bundestag transfers Leopard 2 to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has decided to hand over Leopard 2 combat tanks to Ukraine.

This was reported by Spiegel.

According to the newspaper, the matter concerns the provision of at least one company of Leopard 2A6 tanks to Ukraine. According to NATO standards, we are talking about 14 pieces of equipment.

It is alleged that the German Leopard tanks are to come from the Bundeswehr's warehouses. In the medium to long term, additional tanks could be prepared from the stock that the German industry has.
