The European Union plans to introduce the tenth package of sanctions against Russia on the anniversary of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, on February 24. This was reported by Radio Liberty's Europe editor Rikard Jozwiak on Twitter.
"Sanctions against Belarus may be imposed even earlier," said Jozwiak.
He added that the revision of the price ceiling for Russian oil could take place in early March.
As reported, the European Commission has begun consultations with EU ambassadors not only on the 10th package of sanctions against Russia but also on restrictions against Belarus.
