Today, December 5, the International Atomic Energy Agency conducted a personnel rotation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The rotation took place with the participation of the Ukrainian military.
RBC-Ukraine reports this regarding Brigadier General, Commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria" Oleksandr Tarnavskyi in Telegram.
"On December 5, 2023, another staff rotation of the permanent monitoring mission of the IAEA took place at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which is temporarily occupied by the Russian military," Tarnavskyi wrote.
He reminded that the IAEA mission has been working at the ZNPP since September 2022.
At the same time, Oleksandr Savenko, the head of the Department of the Central Security Service of the Tavria State Security Service, said that the Ukrainian military should ensure the rotation of IAEA experts.
According to him, it is about ensuring a ceasefire on the line of combat, demining the area if necessary, and ensuring the unhindered passage of mission representatives.
