The IDF continued operations where it left off in Gaza

The Israeli military has returned to full-scale fighting in the Gaza Strip after Hamas violated a cease-fire agreement.

This was stated by Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, RBC-Ukraine reports regarding The Times of Israel.

He said he ordered fire to resume on Friday morning after Hamas refused to release 15 women and two children as part of a truce deal.

"We continue exactly from the point where we stopped," said the minister.

He added that he had inspected Gaza from the air and the border area from the ground over the past two days, calling the results of the renewed IDF offensive "very impressive."

"Thousands of terrorists were destroyed, dozens of headquarters [were hit], hundreds of terabytes of information are in our hands, hundreds of terrorists were captured and are being interrogated in Israel." Achievement - 110 hostages returned alive - this was not achieved by any army in the world in the fight against a terrorist organization. We achieved this thanks to the strength of the IDF," the minister said.
