The Netherlands authorized the export of 24 F-16 fighters to Ukraine

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands has issued a license to export 24 F-16 aircraft and seven aircraft engines to Ukraine. The first aircraft will be delivered "soon".

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a letter to members of the Dutch House of Representatives from Dutch Defense Minister Kees Ollongren, published on the parliament's website.

In the letter, Ollongren informs MPs that the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation conducted an export control inspection and issued licenses for the export of aircraft on June 19.

"In addition to the previous information on the supply of military goods to Ukraine on June 13, I also inform you on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation that the first aircraft will be delivered shortly," the letter says.

No further details will be made public, Ollongren said.
