The Netherlands has drawn up a map of countries that could provide spare parts and ammunition from their stockpiles. Dutch Defense Minister Kees Ollongren calls on these countries to participate in the project.

"We are negotiating with countries on the assembly of the Patriot system, as well as on training Ukrainian crews. With our proposal, and if other potential partner countries can provide spare parts and ammunition, we will be able to provide Ukraine with at least one complete system in the short term," she said.

The minister noted that the Dutch government understands that there is a shortage of Patriot systems, but points out that Ukraine is also fighting for Europe, and its military capabilities, energy production and vital infrastructure are under attack every day.

The Netherlands wants the Patriot system to be operational in Ukraine as soon as possible.
