The US and Britain launched airstrikes on Houthi bases in Yemen

The United States and Britain launched a series of airstrikes on weapons storage centers and bases for training the Houthis in Yemen.

It is reported that the attacks were inflicted on several cities using naval and aviation weapons.

According to media reports, attacks on the Houthi group in the western part of Yemen are carried out by American and British aircraft, as well as Tomahawk ground attack missiles launched from US Navy ships in the Red Sea.

The Pentagon official noted that the United States and Britain attacked from air, sea, and underwater "platforms." These attacks were aimed at radars, and air defense facilities, as well as at places of storage and launch of drones, cruise and ballistic missiles.

The attacks targeted Sana'a International Airport and the provinces of Sana'a, Al-Hodeida, Sa'ada, and Damar.

An unnamed US official also noted that the strikes reached their goal. According to him, the attacks on Houthi positions in Yemen have already ended, but the United States reserves the right to respond if the threats continue.
