The US can train Ukrainian pilots on F-16

The United States may train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets if European countries do not organize the training.

This was stated by the coordinator of the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Voice of America correspondent Jeff Seldin on Twitter.

"The United States is open to training Ukrainian pilots if European partners cannot do so," the correspondent quoted Kirby as saying.

The US official added that the United States is eager to move forward with providing Ukraine with "long-term opportunities."
