This is reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding Reuters.

According to the publication, the US, the EU, and Great Britain are pressuring Liberia, the Marshall Islands, and Panama to strengthen surveillance of vessels flying their flags. And also to ensure that these countries do not transport Russian oil sold above the maximum price.

The restriction, which aims to reduce Russia's export earnings while preserving oil flows around the world, was passed in late 2022 but only recently came into force.

The mechanism bars Western companies from providing maritime services such as shipping, insurance, and financing that facilitate trade in Russian oil sold above the limit.
