The White House has commented on the drone attack on Moscow, noting that it is a consequence of the war unleashed by Russia.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this was stated at a briefing by White House spokesperson Karin Jean-Pierre.
She said that the United States does not support strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation, but at the same time emphasized that it was Russia that started the war.
"This is a war started by Russia. This is their war. They started this war, and they could end it... at any time. Russia is bombing the Ukrainian port of Odesa; killing and injuring Ukrainian civilians; destroying UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as I mentioned, and destroying tens of thousands of tons of grain that were going to be sent to countries around the world," the White House spokeswoman emphasized.
She added that the United States will continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine, as this is our commitment.
On the night of July 24, drones attacked the Russian capital, damaging a building near the Russian Defense Ministry. Another drone hit a Moscow business center.
