U.S. to help Romania in investigation of Shahed's downfall

The State Department has expressed its readiness to assist Romania in investigating the downing of Shahed drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine.
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said this during a briefing, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.
He reminded that the Romanian government is investigating the incident and noted that the United States fully trusts the actions of the Romanian side and appreciates the professional and balanced approach to the investigation.
“This investigation is being conducted by the Romanian authorities. Obviously, this is happening on their territory. If they asked us to cooperate in any way, we would certainly be willing to do so,” Miller said.
