Ukraine and Portugal sign bilateral security agreement

On Tuesday, May 28, Ukraine and Portugal signed a bilateral security agreement for 10 years. This was reported on the website of the President's Office.

According to the agreement, in 2024, Portugal is to provide Ukraine with at least €126 million in military assistance. The document notes that this year Portugal has already allocated €100 million for the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine.

The agreement also confirms that Portugal is part of the F-16 Coalition and the International Maritime Security Capabilities Coalition.
