After signing the agreement and meeting with Zelenskyy, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that it was Spain's duty to support Ukraine in many areas during these two years of war.

He said that Spain became the tenth country to sign such a bilateral agreement with Ukraine.

The agreement will focus, among other things, on arms support, reconstruction assistance, and demining.

“Ukraine can count on Spain in its struggle for peace, in the defense of all the values that unite us,” Sanchez said.
