Ukraine can count on France, Russia cannot and should not win

On February 8, at a joint press conference in Paris with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. This was reported by BFMTV.
"For a year, Ukraine, its people, its armed forces, and its president have been resisting Russian troops with great courage. The crime of aggression is unacceptable under any circumstances, especially if it was committed by a state like Russia. That is why we stand by Ukraine with a strong determination to help it to victory and the restoration of its legitimate rights," Macron said.
The French President emphasized that Ukraine can count on France, its European partners and its allies to win the war.
"Russia cannot and must not win," Macron said.-
He promised to "continue to work" on delivering defense equipment to Ukraine.
The French president also noted that Ukraine "can count on" Paris to "build peace."
