This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to The Washington Post.

The minister said his team had identified more than 100 available Patriots. He said that some neighboring countries have more than one system currently protecting a port or airfield.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine needs 25 Patriots to create a full air shield over Ukraine, but Kuleba stressed that the focus could be on getting seven to begin with, but as soon as possible. According to the minister, the first seven air defense systems will be able to cover the defense of the largest cities of Ukraine.

With the $60 billion U.S. package stalled, Kuleba said Kyiv has identified four other countries in Europe and Asia that have Patriots that could be transferred to Ukraine immediately.

However, the minister continues to campaign for the Americans to also send air defense systems to Ukraine.

Kuleba also offered the countries to lend the Patriot to Ukraine, promising to return the batteries as soon as needed.
