This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense.

According to intelligence, the Russians are likely to control the village of Bugrivatka in the north of the Kharkiv region and are trying to seize a nearby crossing of the Siverskyi Donets River. This poses a threat to the flank and rear of the Ukrainian troops defending Vovchansk. In addition, Russia is conducting assaults in the direction of the village of Liptsi, but without success.

According to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Russian troops intend to create a “buffer zone” in the north of the Kharkiv region. However, the UK Ministry of Defense notes that these attempts are unsuccessful.

Intelligence reports that the northern Kharkiv front is likely to have stabilized, and Russian control of the territory is fragmented and not unified. Russia's success in this area will be limited over the next week, as the initial Russian momentum has been tempered by Ukrainian resistance.
