President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a bilateral security agreement with Lithuania would be signed in the near future.

The head of state said this on his Telegram channel.

Zelenskyy noted that on his way to Spain on Monday, he had a phone conversation with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and congratulated him on his convincing victory in the election.

Zelenskyy and Nausėda discussed preparations for important international events - the Peace Summit in Switzerland, the European Council Summit, and the NATO Summit.

“Lithuania and President Nausėda are personally making every effort to ensure that these events are successful for Ukraine, European unity, and global security. We agreed to sign a bilateral agreement in the near future within the framework of the G7 declaration concluded in Vilnius,” Zelenskyy said.
