Ukrainian Armed Forces significantly repelled occupants near Bakhmut

In the Bakhmut sector, the Defense Forces repelled the Russian occupiers' attacks near Ivanivske (near Bakhmut itself) and Bila Hora (south of the city) under heavy fire from Russian aircraft and artillery.

At the same time, our defenders continued to conduct offensive actions to the south and north of Bakhmut: "They are consolidating on the achieved lines". We can assume that there is a hint of advancement here.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an evening report on its Facebook page.

In turn, the Donbas Operative Telegram channel, citing Western military bloggers and OSINT researchers (see their map), reported on our advance north of Bakhmut this evening:

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to put pressure on the Russians in the areas of Berkhivka and Yahydne. There is quite good progress over the day. At the moment, fighting is taking place on the outskirts of Berkhivka, and the settlement itself has moved into the gray zone. In addition, our eagles came very close to Yahidne...".

AFU officer Maksym Zhorin writes about the advance of the third assault brigade of the AFU near Bakhmut but does not name settlements or directions. But he does state:

"In a state of hysteria, these orcs began to use chemical weapons. There are already confirmed cases of poisoning in our unit and others. Also, aviation is again very actively working on our positions."
