Ukrainian Armed Forces take control of new territories

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are succeeding in and around Bakhmut, driving back the Russian fascist invaders from the territories they previously occupied.

Today, throughout the day, our soldiers themselves reported on the enemy's losses and the advancement of our units, using their telegram channels.

Later, the Ministry of Defense confirmed certain successes and advances, as Deputy Minister Hanna Malyar did.

And in the evening, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the soldiers for the news that everyone was waiting for in his traditional address.

"I am grateful to each of our soldiers, to all our defenders, to our defenders, who gave us the news we are waiting for today. The Bakhmut direction - well done, soldiers.

We can see how hysterically Russia perceives any of our moves there, any of our positions. The enemy knows that Ukraine will win. They can see it. They feel it thanks to your strikes, soldiers, and in particular in the Donetsk region," the head of state said.

Zelenskyy particularly noted the 5th Separate Assault Brigade and the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, which are "moving forward."
