Ukrainian military defeated an elite brigade of Russian marines

The Ukrainian military continues to destroy the Russian occupants. The elite 155th Marine Brigade from Vladivostok was completely defeated near Vuhledar.

According to the U.S. publication, it was defeated, including the command staff.

“A large number of enemy forces, including the command staff, were destroyed near Vuhledar and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast,” Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, head of the united press center of the Tavriskiy District of Ukrainian defense forces, said.

According to him, 150-300 Russian marines were killed every day in this direction, and about 130 units of enemy equipment, including 36 tanks, were destroyed during the week.

“The 155th brigade already had to be restaffed three times. The first time after Irpin and Bucha; the second time they were defeated near Donetsk — they recovered again. And now almost the entire brigade has already been destroyed near Vuhledar,” Dmytrashkivskyi said.

It should be mentioned the 155th Brigade had already suffered a crushing defeat in eastern Ukraine back in November 2022 near Pavlivka.

Earlier, ISW analysts pointed out that the failure at Vuhledar weakened the Russians' faith in their ability to launch a new large-scale offensive.
