Umerov and Austin to meet at the Pentagon on Tuesday: what is known

The Defense Ministers of Ukraine and the United States, Rustem Umerov and Lloyd Austin, will meet at the Pentagon on Tuesday. In particular, the defense ministers will discuss strengthening the partnership.
This was reported by the Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense Sabrina Singh, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Ukrinform.
"Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will visit the Pentagon tomorrow to meet with Secretary Austin," Sabrina Singh said.
She noted that this visit underscores the United States' continued commitment to supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and security.
According to the representative of the US Defense Department, the parties will discuss bilateral defense cooperation, regional security issues, as well as ways to strengthen the defense partnership between the US and Ukraine.
