The meeting will be held at the initiative of the United States and Albania, and the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo will report on behalf of the UN. According to the Security Council Secretariat, she will provide an update on the security and humanitarian situation in Ukraine.

According to the secretariat, Russia, for its part, has requested a separate meeting next week to discuss "Western arms transfers to Ukraine and their implications for diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis."

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said yesterday that, according to intelligence and security services, Russia could carry out a terrorist attack with a radiation release at the ZNPP.
