US accused Georgia of being involved in the supply of chips to the RF

Georgia turned to the United States of America for evidence that the country is supplying Russia with chips to circumvent sanctions.

This was announced by the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, RBC-Ukraine reports regarding NewsGeorgia.

The allegations were made at a special hearing of the US Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations under the Homeland Security Committee.

The senior member of the subcommittee, Republican Senator Ron Johnson, expressed the opinion that with the help of Georgia and several other countries, American microcircuits are getting into Russian weapons systems.

It is noted that the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia has already turned to American colleagues and demanded clarification based on which evidence the said statements about Georgia were made.

"If concrete evidence exists, we ask the American side to share it with the Georgian side," the statement said.
