The notice states that 11 more business entities have been added to the list of companies with export restrictions.
"These eleven entities have been designated by the U.S. government as acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States," the statement says.
In particular, these are companies from Myanmar, China, Nicaragua, and Russia.
Among them are the Russian companies Aviatech and Aviazapchast.
They were listed along with others - Miya Win, Myanmar New Era Trading Company and Suntac Group - as "selling, purchasing and maintaining military equipment that allows the Burmese military regime to commit human rights violations and brutal air attacks that result in the deaths and injuries of civilians."
