Yellen's trip to China is aimed at deepening ties between the economies, stabilizing relations, and minimizing the risks of mistakes in the event of disagreements.

The U.S. Treasury Secretary is to convey to China's economic team the U.S. position on human rights and national security. She also hopes to cooperate in addressing pressing issues such as climate change and the debt crisis facing many countries.

The United States also believes that the implementation of China's national security and espionage law will have negative consequences for foreign companies, including American ones. They may be accused of "espionage activities."
