Warsaw will give Kyiv 60 subway cars

Warsaw subway will present Kyiv with 60 subway cars.

This was reported by the press service of the KSCA after the meeting of the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko with his Warsaw colleague Rafal Trzaskowski, as well as the mayors of Prague, Bratislava, and Budapest writes European Pravda.

"During the meeting, Kyiv mayors Vitali Klitschko and Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski signed a letter of intent on cooperation between the Kyiv and Warsaw metro and on the transfer of 60 metro cars by the Polish capital to Kyiv," the report says.

It also notes the assistance of the four European capitals to Kyiv, recalling that since February 24, the partners transferred 16 cars of food, 400 heat guns, and 10 generators.

Budapest helped with the treatment of Ukrainian children at Lake Balaton and in Tata and donated a powerful generator for Kyivteploenerho.

Warsaw played an important role as a logistical hub for aid arriving in Kyiv from across Europe, including 2,500 tons of food, hygiene products, and medicines, as well as pipes and a generator for Kyivvodokanal PJSC.

Bratislava plans to donate 25 city buses to the Ukrainian capital.
