White House confirms US participation in peace summit

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the White House spokesperson Karin Jean-Pierre during a briefing.
"As you know, we have been actively involved in each of the previous Ukrainian peace summits. The U.S. government is involved in this. And we will be represented at this upcoming summit," she said.
At the same time, the spokeswoman, answering media questions, said she had no specific information about Biden's participation in the peace summit.
"It is important for us to continue to make sure that Ukraine has all the capabilities necessary to defend itself and to ensure a just and lasting peace," added Karine Jean-Pierre.
She emphasized the need to provide rapid support to Ukraine to avoid attacks like the one in Kharkiv on May 25. Back then, Russians attacked the Epicenter, where dozens of people were staying.
