The White House continues to discuss whether to send Ukraine long-range ATACMS missiles. The decision has not yet been made.

This was stated by White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby, The Telegraph reports.

Kirby noted that the United States has been having a long conversation about providing Ukraine with long-range cruise missiles, and this discussion is still ongoing.

"The president hasn’t said he’ll do it, but he continues to want the interagency, the defence department, the state department here at the National Security Council to consider Atacams and we’re going to do that. They are not off the table," the White House official said.

Recently, Western media have reported that the issue of providing Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles has stalled. For example, Reuters wrote that Joe Biden's administration is close to making a decision to approve the transfer of long-range missiles to Ukraine.
