President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed former Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova as Ukraine's ambassador to Liechtenstein.
The relevant decree was published on the President's website, Yevropeiska Pravda Reports.
"To appoint Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation Iryna Venediktova as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Principality of Liechtenstein with concurrent appointment," the decree reads.
On July 17, Zelenskyy dismissed Venediktova and SBU head Ivan Bakanov from their posts, explaining that a large number of crimes against national security and the ties between law enforcement officials and Russian special services raise serious questions about the heads of these two agencies.
