Zelenskyy discusses EU accession with Spanish Prime Minister

On December 7, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the President's Telegram page.
"I had a telephone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, congratulated him on his re-election as head of government. I am glad to continue our friendly and constructive dialog," the president wrote.
According to him, they discussed security issues and Ukraine's progress in completing the implementation of the European Commission's recommendations on the eve of the European Council meeting.
"We expect that Spain's presidency of the EU Council will end with the adoption of a historic decision to open negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU," Zelenskyy added.-
