May 16, 2024

The Polish Armed Forces have received the fourth set of Bayraktar TB2 unmanned systems - six airborne drones and three ground control stations.

This is reported by RMF24.

The Polish Ministry of Defense said that this equipment increases the combat readiness of the Republic of Poland.

“Bayraktars have proven to be excellent in the war in Ukraine. I think this is proof that Bayraktars have also proven themselves well in Poland,” Deputy Defense Minister Pawel Bejda said on Thursday.

“These can be ‘eyes’ for different branches of the army, for the air force, for the ground forces, for the navy, for special forces, for any kind of army. These are the 'eyes', the knowledge that shows what is happening not only in the air, but also shows the elements that the army needs to see on the ground, on the water, and in the air,” said the deputy minister, who emphasized that this equipment also enables interaction, in particular, with the F-16 aircraft, and in the future with the F-35.
