Situation in the Kharkiv sector remains difficult

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Khortytsia unit Nazar Voloshyn, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the telethon broadcast.

Currently, the operational situation in the Kharkiv sector remains complicated and dynamically changing. Our defense and security forces and all the units involved have managed to partially stabilize the situation," Voloshyn said.

He noted that the occupants who entered Kharkiv region are being destroyed by all available means - artillery, drones, and infantry forces.

"We managed to stabilize the situation in that direction in the sense that the advance (of the enemy - ed.) in certain areas and settlements has been stopped," Voloshyn said.

Nevertheless, he said, the enemy is trying to ensure favorable conditions for further advancement and to take more favorable positions on the ground.

"However, the defense forces continue to focus their main efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into our defense, disrupting its tasks and establishing full control over the northern part of Kharkiv region," Voloshyn summarized.
